(born in Long Island, New York) is an American pornographic actress, pornographic director and adult model.
A graduate of the State University of New York, Silk began her adult career as a stripper in Las Vegas. During this time she met porn star Jenna Jameson, who advised her on how to enter the pornographic industry. Silk made her way to Hollywood, where she met Ron Jeremy, who in turn introduced her to performers, directors and producers.
During the course of her career she married porn star Luc Wylder.
In addition to performances in over 400 pornographic films, she also appeared in music videos, television spots and mainstream movies. In print, she has featured in magazines such as Playboy, Vogue, and Maxim. She appeared as Bailiff Silk in the PlayboyTV sitcom, Sex Court, and on the Sirius Satellite Radio show, Sex Court.
Alexandra Silk was a stripper in Las Vegas when she met porn legend Jenna Jameson, who suggested she take the plunge and head to L.A. to break into adult films. She did just that, and while there met another porn superstar, Ron Jeremy, who introduced her around to industry executives. She made her first adult film in 1995 and is still going strong.
