(born Lydia Lee on February 3, 1974) is a former American pornographic actress who became a writer after retiring from the adult industry. She was active in the industry from 1998-2004. Meadows is recognizable due to her long blonde hair and facial mole regarded as a beauty mark; she is sometimes said to resemble the actress Julia Stiles.
Born in Texarkana, Texas, Meadows has three sisters. She married at the age of 17 and gave birth to a son just after their one-year anniversary.
She met the film director Michael Raven while dancing in Dallas. She subsequently moved to Los Angeles, California where she began working in adult films in 1998.
She stated in an interview in 1999 that she did not participate in lesbian scenes, which would put her in the minority among female adult film stars. Generally, her scenes with women were threesome scenes with a male. She appeared in over 200 adult films, as well as numerous softcore productions.
In 2004, she sang and acted in the musical pornographic film Misty Beethoven: The Musical, a remake of the 1970s classic The Opening of Misty Beethoven.

Meadows retired from the adult industry in 2004.
In March 2010, Meadows appeared in a Public Service Announcement for the Free Speech Coalition on the topic of internet piracy of adult content, directed by Michael Whiteacre. The spot, entitled the "FSC All-Star Anti-Piracy PSA," found Meadows in the company of adult performers such as Lisa Ann, Kimberly Kane, Ron Jeremy, and Wicked Pictures contract stars Alektra Blue and Kaylani Lei.
Julie Meadows married her first husband in 1992 and moved from Texarkana, Texas to Dallas, Texas, where she gave birth to their son exactly one year later. They lived in Texas for the next eight years, and then she met a director at a club called "The Club House" and considered entering the Adult Film Industry. She did not choose to right away, but six months later, and so they uprooted and moved to Los Angeles where she started her Adult Film career. In 2002, she filed for divorce from her first husband and began the process of extracting herself from the Adult Industry. In 2005 she met and married her second husband and they are still married and living happily in Los Angeles. Her son lives with his father away from the city.
